Applying for Housing

Applications

Applications are available from the office during normal office hours. Applications can be picked up in person, or they can be mailed upon request. Applications are accepted from the 6th through the end of the month. Basic information required includes: name, social security numbers, date and place of birth, previous landlords, and family income. Copies of social security cards, birth certificates, and driver’s license/state I.D. are required on all family members. JCHA performs rental history and criminal background checks on all adults. JCHA cannot approve an application if a family member owes any housing authority money. As long as you are interested in housing, make JCHA aware if your contact information changes while you’re on the waiting list.
